LOCAL ATHLETE TO SIGN LETTER OF INTENT

On Tuesday, March 25,2008, Kelsey Myers, College Heights Christian School Senior, will sign a letter of intent to play Volleyball at Labette Community College in Parsons, Kansas. Labette is a member of the NJCAA conference. Kelsey has been a 3-year varsity letter winner and starter and Co-captain her Senior year. She has had the top serving percentage on the team her Junior and Senior year, tied the school record for top serving percentage, and had the top number of serving points for the team this year. Kelsey will be signing a full ride volleyball scholarship and has plans to major in Elementary Education. She is the daughter of Brad and Margie Myers of Joplin.

Coach Karla Gaines commented, “Kelsey is the kind of player that can come into a tight situation, keep a cool head and get the job done. She has led our team for two years with her serve and I am looking forward to seeing her play at the next level."
