LOCAL STUDENT TO TRAVEL
INTERNATIONALLY
WITH PEOPLE TO PEOPLE
Elizabeth Khaleghi, a College Heights Christian School
Junior, has been invited to be a Student Ambassador traveling and
studying in Ireland, Wales, England, France, Belgium, and the
Netherlands in the summer of 2008. People to People is
an educational exploration program founded 1956 by President Dwight
D. Eisenhower, who believed that ordinary citizens of different
nations, if able to communicate directly, would solve their
differences and find a way to live in peace.
Khaleghi was identified as a result of her participation in the
College Board Student Search Service, the organization that
administers the SAT and PSAT. She will experience 20 days of
activities while representing the United States as a Student
Ambassador in six foreign countries.
