COMMENDED STUDENT IN THE 2008 NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLAR PROGRAM

College Heights Christian School announced that Senior Brittney J. Lewis has been named a Commended Student in the 2008 National Merit Scholarship Program. She placed among the top five percent of more than 1.4 million students who took the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

“Miss Lewis is a scholastically talented senior and is recognized for her exceptional academic promise,” commented a spokesperson for National Merit Scholarship Corporation. “Our nation’s pursuit of educational excellence can be furthered by publicly honoring outstanding students like Brittney and by acknowledging the important role schools like College Heights Christian School play in fostering their development.”

Brittney Lewis is the daughter of Daniel and Jodeana Lewis of Oronogo.
