The High School Boy’s Cross Country Team at College Heights Christian School received a perfect score at Southwest HS in Washburn, MO on October 11, 2007. This is a FIRST in CHCS history where the runners placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th for a total score of 15.

The exceptional ending to the race was that the runners placed by order of graduating class: 1st - Ethan Beaver, Senior, 2nd – Alan Good, Junior, 3rd – Josh Carter, Sophomore, 4th- Caleb Hoover, Freshman, and 5th – Trenton Morris, Freshman.

Coach Daniel Lewis stated, “The great thing about this cross country team is their willingness to work hard independently and support each other corporately. They are aware of the price that has to be paid to be champions and are able and willing to pay that price. The unity on the team is integral in creating the atmosphere of sacrifice for the team that is the hallmark of any great team.”
