CHCS Press Releases Date: Monday, October 20, 2008 P R E S S R E L E A S E For immediate release PRINCIPAL INDUCTED INTO SPORTS HALL OF FAME Paul Sims, College Heights Christian School Elementary Principal, will be inducted into his alma maters Sports Hall of Fame in January 2009. Mr. Sims graduated from Lincoln Christian College in Lincoln, IL in 1978 with a BA degree in Preaching Ministry. He was a four-year letterman in both basketball and baseball at LCC. Mr. Sims has been on faculty at College Heights Christian School as the secondary Bible teacher, coach, Athletic Director and more recently the Elementary Principal. He was first on staff during the 1983-85 school years. From 1985 - 1989 he was a youth pastor at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY and later coach and Athletic Director at Lincoln Christian College. Mr. Sims returned to College Heights in 1989 and has been a member of the faculty since. Since 1989 Mr. Sims has also worked bi-vocationally, having served as Pastor at First Christian Church in Galena, KS. For Information: Christina Hardy 782-4114 ext. 203
