College Heights Christian School gathered together with all students from Kindergarten to Seniors
to celebrate our 30th Anniversary on Monday, September 15th,
2008. In attendance, were business leaders of
the community. Highlights included a ribbon cutting, proclamation
from the city, recognition of the founding father of our school and
announcement of the alumni of the year.
Next we kicked off our Spiritual Emphasis Week with a chapel service
featuring praise and worship music
and our keynote speaker, John Craig, Association of Christian
Schools International. Mr. Craig spoke on the "Benefits of
Christian Education."
During the week of September 16th-19th our Middle School and High
School students celebrated Spiritual Emphasis Week with a daily
chapel service. Speakers for the week
included Jay St. Clair, Josh Quade, Rhonda Davis, and Lisa Keele.
The conclusion of our week took place on Sunday, September 21st in the new worship center. This Spiritual Heritage Celebration
defines who we are and where we have been. The foundation of our heritage
is the notion that we honor four men and their vision of this school
before it began. Keynote speaker was Randy Gariss, Senior
Pastor at CHCC.
