I graduated with a B.S. in CIS (Computer Information Systems) in 1985 from MSSC.  I immediately returned to Southern and received my B.S. in Education a year later.  Being hired at CHCS allowed me to receive my certificate to teach computer science.  I say this because the State of Missouri has no certification for teaching computer science, so they made one just for me.  This makes me the only person in the state to be certified to teach that course.  I have worked at CHCS since 1986.  During my time here, I have been a part time secretary, taught intro to computers, keyboarding, and drama.  I am currently teaching band, programming, and am the technology coordinator, and assistant soccer coach.  In the past, I also taught at Vatterott Business College, teaching programming, intro to computers, business math, and accounting.  I have a wonderful wife, Kristin, and two children, Claire and Luke.
